Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores on your device. We use as few as we can get away with. This page lists every one, what it does, and how long it lasts.

What we set today

All of these are strictly necessary — the shop cannot work without them, so they do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. None of them track you across other websites.

• treatsdom_cart_id — remembers your basket between pages and visits. Expires after 30 days. Cannot be read by JavaScript.
• treatsdom_auth — keeps you signed in to your account. Set only when you sign in, and removed when you sign out. Cannot be read by JavaScript.
• treatsdom_consent — remembers your answer to the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every page. Expires after 180 days.

Stripe, at checkout

When you reach the checkout, Stripe loads its payment form and sets its own cookies. These are used to process your payment and to detect fraud, which is a strictly necessary purpose. Stripe explains them in its privacy policy. We never see your card details.

Analytics and advertising

We do not currently run any analytics or advertising cookies. No tracking script is loaded on this site, by us or anyone else. The cookie banner exists so that if we ever add site measurement, we ask you first and honour your answer — and so you can record a preference now.

If that changes, this page will be updated to list exactly what we add, before we add it.

Changing your mind

You can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings — every major browser lets you do this, usually under Privacy. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will stop the basket and sign-in from working.

To reset the cookie banner, delete the treatsdom_consent cookie and reload the page.
